Animal Protein is Toxic
- Kidney Function: Impairs kidney blood flow, impairs, kidney
blood flow, and causes a rapid decrease in kidney function; with
inflammation appearing to be the primary impact.
- IGF-1: Animal protein stimulates a higher production of IGF-1
(Insulin-like Growth Factory-1), a hormone that has been consistently
associated with cancer risk, with proliferation of cancer cells, and
malignancy. As Grandma Benson would say, “That ain’t good.”
- TMAO: (Trimethylamine N-oxide). Animal protein is
responsible for us having higher circulating of TMAO; which is highly
inflammatory substance promoting the formation of cholesterol
plaques in our blood vessels; highly problematic for heart health.
- Phosphorus: Animal protein contains high levels of
phosphorus which is harmful to our blood vessels and cardiac
muscles; leading to heart attacks, heart failure, and/or sudden death.
- Sulfur: Animal protein have, in general, higher concentrations of
sulfur containing amino acids which induces a state of acidosis which
pulls calcium from our bones.
6. Fats/Cholesterol: Animal protein foods contain large amounts
of saturated fat and cholesterol; the two key collaborators for heart
attacks and death.
- Heme Iron: Animal protein, because it contains ‘heme iron’
which causes oxidative stress, DNA damage and promotes highly
reactive free radicals; plants contain ‘non-heme iron’ which avoids the
negative issues.
